Wealthy Notes 1/15

January 15, 2023

Every week I will share something I'm reading, something I'm teaching, something I have photographed, something I'm excited about, and something I can answer.

I just finished reading The 12-Week Year for the 3rd time. Think you can't achieve Big Goals in small amounts of time? Think again. In the book, The 12-Week Year, the authors explain why planning your goals around shorter timelines works (P.S. I will show you how I use this process inside the $5k in 30 Day Challenge).

Increasing your chances of succeeding with your goals is highly unlikely if you don't take some action and write them. A study led by Gail Matthews, a Dominican University's Department of Psychology professor, found that those who wrote down their goals had a 42% success rate. In comparison, those who also committed publicly to their goals had a 60% success rate. But the highest success rate was found in those who added weekly accountability with a friend, with a completion rate of 76%. So as we kick off our challenge tomorrow (1/16/2023 at 7pm) with the highest intentions,  I want you to write down what you want to achieve and tell someone.

Well, I didn't take this picture, but I'm excited to announce where we are going on our Wealthy Retreat later this year. I'm making the big announcement at the end of the masterclass and if you are apart of the Wealthy Women Circle, you will have a chance to enter.

It's the beginning of the year and I am for sure implementing The Start Fresh Effect! All you need is a goal, a new week, a new year, a beginning of the week, etc...studies show you are more likely to stick to your goals if you Start Fresh...so today is Sunday, and plan the week!

Question: How to reach the goals you set for yourself?

92% of New Year’s resolutions fail. However, because this is naturally the time that a lot of us set goals, let me share how you can reach everything you set out to do. This is great preparation for our upcoming goal setting mastermind I'm hosting on 1/16. Are you coming?

The key that I have found is: Make fewer goals.

Think about this because there is a direct correlation between the number of goals you set and the chance of accomplishing any of them. Set 3 goals, and you’ll probably hit 2. Set 10, and you will probably see his none. I'm definitely not telling you to have future goals in mind, but I want you to prioritize so that you actually win.

You want to look at your life currently and decide: what 2-3 goals are the MOST important to accomplish? Then hit those goals, hands down!  If you wanna learn how to hit the goals you set every time, go layout your growth plan with me on Jan 16, 2023. There is no charge to you, but space is limited: Vision Board Growth Challenge
